Tim Smith
Special Education Advocate
Tim graduated from West Texas A&M University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and formerly worked as a Parole Office for the State of Texas.
He is the proud parent of a child with special needs and attended numerous ARD meetings over the course of 18 years. His first foray into education advocacy was through this trial by fire.
Aside from his extensive personal experience advocating for education services for his daughter, Tim received additional advocacy training from senior advocates and attorneys at Cirkiel & Associates, P.C. and Wrightslaw.
He is an active member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates. Tim has directly participated in numerous Due Process Hearings as well as several Mediations and was the Plaintiff in Federal Lawsuit over educational services where a settlement was reached.
